Welcome to Pomelo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pomelo ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of the Pomelo mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pomelo. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Services.

You retain ownership of all content you create, post, or share on Pomelo ("User Content"), including:

Workout logs and exercise routines
Nutrition entries and recipes
Photos and videos
Posts, comments, and messages
Profile information and bio

Content Standards

You agree not to post User Content that:

Violates any law or regulation
Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
Contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying
Promotes violence or dangerous activities
Contains nudity or sexual content
Contains spam, advertising, or promotional content (unless authorized)
Impersonates any person or entity
Contains viruses, malware, or harmful code

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Technical Restrictions

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services
Interfere with or disrupt the Services
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Circumvent any security features

Misuse

Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Sell, trade, or transfer your account
Use the Services for any commercial purpose without authorization
Collect user information without consent
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Spam or send unsolicited messages

6. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

Pomelo is a fitness tracking and social platform. The Services are for informational and social purposes only and are not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, replace professional medical consultation, or prescribe fitness or nutrition plans.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before:

Starting any new exercise program
Making significant dietary changes
If you have any medical conditions or concerns

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

The Services will meet your requirements
User Content is accurate or reliable
Results obtained from the Services will be accurate
Any errors in the Services will be corrected

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POMELO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE.

9. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Deleting your account through the App settings
Contacting us to request account deletion

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
We are required to do so by law
We discontinue the Services
